Your organisation will need to appoint an ISO 14001 Management Representative, often referred to as the Environmental Manager. This person is responsible for achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 certification; therefore they will need to be familiar with the ISO 14001:2015 standard, understand its requirements and how to apply them at your organisation.
This person will need to have sufficient authority to implement and change operational processes within the organisation.
